About Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing at Swaminarayan University, Kalol, is dedicated to training compassionate, skilled, and clinically competent nursing professionals who are ready to meet the demands of modern healthcare systems. With a strong focus on hands-on training, ethical care, and interdisciplinary learning, our programs prepare students to make a real impact on patient health and well-being.
Nursing courses and GNM to B.Sc. to. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc, and M.Sc. Nursing Competence -Blend's classroom instruction with hard clinical risk in hospitals and the health care environment.
Students are trained in real -world scenarios, including patient care, emergency preparedness, ICU management, pediatric care, mental health, community search and mother's health.
Emphasis is placed on professional behavior, accuracy in procedures, infection checks, documentation and associated teamwork with doctors and other health workers.

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at Swaminarayan University is a professionally structured program aimed at providing overall health services to competent nurses. It covers basic and advanced concepts in medical nursing, midwife, social health and mental health nursing.
M. S. Swaminarayan University has a special postgraduate program in child health nursing designed to prepare nursing staff for specialist level care in pediatric and newborns. The program focuses on promoting child health through advanced clinical practice, research and family -focused care.
M. S. Swaminarayan University has a doctoral program in social health nursing designed to develop advanced public health professionals who are able to meet the health requirements of local communities in different environments.
Swaminarayan University has a mental health research program that focuses on developing special nursing professionals equipped to provide broad psychiatric care.
Swaminarayan University has a doctoral program in maternity and gynecological nursing that focuses on developing talented nurses in the health of mother and women.
