About M.Sc Nursing
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programs at Swaminarayan University are designed for registered nurses trying to promote education and increase their clinical, administrative and teaching skills. The program creates today's knowledge and skills received through nursing education at diploma level.
The course integrates theory with clinical practice, covers areas such as medical-carical nursing, mental health, social health, nursing research and management. Students gain experience on hands through clinical posts in affiliated hospitals and health settings in society.
Graduate Hospital Administration, Advanced Patient Care, Nursing Education and Roles in Public Health are designed. The program allows students to do higher studies such as M.Sc. Nursing or expert in various clinical areas.
Swaminarayan University offers a student -centered learning environment with experienced faculties, simulation laboratories and hospital participation. Our program emphasizes evidence -based exercises, morals and management, and produces competent nursing professionals prepared for global challenges in the health care system.
Program Duration
M.Sc. Nursing program is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course comprising 4 semesters, as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) and university regulations. The curriculum includes theoretical instruction, clinical training, specialty practice, a research project, and dissertation submission in the final semester.

1. Candidate must have completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.
2. Must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC as per norms).
3. Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with any State Nursing Council.
4. A minimum of 1 year of clinical or teaching experience after B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is required.
a) Candidates must be medically fit for clinical and academic responsibilities.
b) Submission of valid nursing registration and experience certificates is mandatory.
c) Admission is based on merit and/or entrance examination as per university policy.
