About Post Basic B.sc Nursing

Program Duration
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a 2-year full-time undergraduate program divided into 4 semesters, following the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and respective state nursing councils. It includes theoretical coursework, clinical training, internal assessments, and practical examinations

1. Candidate must have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized institution.
2. Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with any State Nursing Council in India.
3. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in GNM is required for general category candidates.
4. SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible with relaxation as per government norms
a) Candidate must be medically fit to undertake clinical and academic responsibilities.
b) Must provide valid registration and migration certificates at the time of admission.
c) Preference may be given to candidates with clinical work experience post-GNM.
