About Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM)
Diploma in assistant nurse midwife (note) at Swaminarayan University is a skill -oriented nursing program designed to prepare students on the front lines of the health care system. Together with focusing on maternal and child health, courses endow students with essential nursing practices, preventive health services and social -seeking strategies.
Students undergo strict clinical training through hospital planes, rural health camps and simulation laboratories. This experience on hand helps them provide primary care, carry out safe delivery and build trust and ability to handle basic emergency situations in both institutional and social surroundings.

Program Duration
The ANM Nursing Diploma is a two-year full-time program, divided into four semesters as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) guidelines. It includes theory classes, skill lab sessions, and mandatory clinical training in affiliated hospitals and community health centers.

1. Passed 10+2 in Arts or Science stream from a recognized board.
2. Minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying exam (35% for reserved categories).
3. Candidates must be between 17 and 35 years of age at the time of admission.
4. Must be medically fit with a certificate from a registered medical practitioner
a) Preference will be given to students from rural or under-served areas.
b) Female candidates are primarily eligible as per current norms (subject to updates by INC).
c) Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in community health settings.
