About M.Sc Community Health Nursing
M. S. Swaminarayan University has a doctoral program in social health nursing designed to develop advanced public health professionals who are able to meet the health requirements of local communities in different environments. The program emphasizes prevention, promotion and population -based care to improve health services in society.
Students are trained in epidemic, environmental health, health education, policy scheme and primary health services. Field visits, social examination and rural/urban health stations that post posting of social health systems and practical understanding of public engagement strategies.
Graduates are eligible for leadership roles in public health departments, voluntary organizations, community -based organizations and international health programs. The program also has a basis for doctoral studies and special roles in health policy, administration and educational research.
The University of Swaminarayan provides a strong educational and field -oriented environment supported by the experienced faculty, partnership with health organizations and a course that corresponds to the Nursing Council of India (INC). The program promotes leadership, spokesman and health practice for moral society.
Program Duration
M.Sc. in Community Health Nursing is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program structured over 4 semesters, in accordance with Indian Nursing Council (INC) and university norms. The curriculum includes theory classes, field-based practice, project work, and dissertation focused on community and public health issues..

1. Candidate must have completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.
2. A minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government regulations).
3. Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with any State Nursing Council.
At least one year of clinical or teaching experience post-B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is required.
a) Candidate should be medically fit for community-based fieldwork and clinical responsibilities.
b) Valid registration and experience certificates must be submitted at the time of admission.
c) Admission is based on university norms, merit list, and/or entrance test performance.
