About Master of Arts Hindi Teaching Scheme

Program Duration
The MA in Hindi (with Teaching Scheme) is a two-year full-time postgraduate program, spread across four semesters. The program includes core literature and language courses, a teaching practicum, and an optional dissertation or internship in the final semester. Program structure is as follows: theoretical grounding in the first year, teaching application and specialization in the second.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Hindi or equivalent from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
3. Graduates from other disciplines may apply with demonstrated interest and Hindi proficiency.
4. Final-year undergraduate students may apply provisionally.
a)Must be medically fit as per university norms.
b)Preference given to candidates with experience or interest in teaching, translation, or communication.
c)Admission based on merit, entrance test, or interview as prescribed by the university.
