About Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Program
The
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program at Swaminarayan University is an
undergraduate program designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge
and skills to become professional physiotherapists.
This course spans five years, which
includes four years of academic study and a mandatory 1- year of clinical
internship. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering subjects such as Anatomy,
Physiology, Biomechanics, Pathology, and various therapeutic techniques like
Electrotherapy and Exercise Therapy including theory as well as practical
sessions to build clinical skills.
Admission to a BPT program requires
candidates to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination by recognised any Indian board
or a duly constituted Board or National Open School with pass marks with
minimum 50% in aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology (botany &
zoology).
No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she
has appeared in the NEET examination

He/she must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent
examination by recognised any Indian board or a duly constituted Board or
National Open School with pass marks with minimum 50% in aggregate of physics,
chemistry and biology (botany & zoology).

in the NEET examination

Admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy program shall be made on the
basis of NEET examination. eligibility (minimum 50% with physics, chemistry and
biology) and merit list based on 10+2 passing marks.

Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent
qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities and
Equivalence Committee of the NCAHP, and must fulfil the criteria as per points
1-3 above.
